Walk on a Wire was recorded by Jim Kissling at Tempermill Studios, in Ferndale, Michigan in 2003 and 2004. It was released on compact disc in 2005 and featured the military tribute, Thank You Jo(e), receiving airplay on the Armed Forces Radio Network. The CD garnered The Shy some notoriety locally.
